Day 3: Sea of Galilee and its surroundings
6:30 - 8:00 AM Breakfast time in the hotel
8:00 AM Depart hotel to Sea of Galilee, the lowest freshwater lake on Earth and the second-lowest lake in the world after the Dead Sea, Much of the ministry of Jesus occurred on the shores of Lake Galilee including his walking on water and calming the storm.
9:00 – 9:45 AM Boat ride across the Sea of Galilee, Sail on a wooden boat similar to "The Jesus boats" in order to create the emotional atmosphere in which to pray, meditate and remember how "he" preached on the Sea of Galilee.
10:15 – 10:45 AM Visit Capernaum “Jesus Town”, The town is mentioned in the New Testament: in the Gospel of Luke it was reported to have been the home of the apostles Peter, Andrew, James and John, as well as the tax collector Matthew. In Matthew 4:13 the town was reported to have been the
home of Jesus, “He” taught in the synagogue in Capernaum on the Sabbath, healed a man who had the spirit of an unclean devil and healed a fever in Simon Peter's mother-in-law. Also it is the place where a Roman Centurion asked Jesus to heal his servant.
11:00 – 11:30 AM Visit Tabga, It is the place of Jesus miracle of the multiplication of the loaves and fishes (Mark 6:30-46) and the fourth resurrection appearance of Jesus (John 21:1-24), The site's name is derived from the Greek name Heptapegon ("seven springs")
11:45 – 12:15 PM Visit St. Peter Primacy’s Church, in this place Jesus appeared to Peter and had breakfast with him, After breakfast, Jesus reinstated Peter (after his three-time denial of Jesus at the
crucifixion) with the words "Feed my sheep" (John 21:15-19).
12:30 – 2:30 PM Lunch
2:30 PM Drive to the Mt. of Beatitudes, the location of the Sermon of the mount
5:30 PM Drive back to Hotel in Tiberias / Nazareth
7:30 - 9:00 PM Dinner time and overnight
