L 13 " x W 8.5 " x H 17 " This Bethlehem's olive wood statue of Virgin Mary is made in the Holy Land and depicts the details of this rendition of the Pieta which brings the onlooker into an intimate participation with the Sorrowful Mother's agony over her lifeless son Jesus Christ. Psalm 127:3 "Children are a heritage from the LORD, offspring a reward from him." This statue is handcrafted from one piece of aged olive wood by Bethlehemite Christian artisans and, like all of our products, is coated with soft, clear, lacquer based sealing wax to ensure its longevity, and to give it a hint of shine.
