This 13 inch wall crucifix is hand carved in Bethlehem by the Bannoura family, who have crafted for Catholic homes in America since 2000. The silver plated corpus of Christ rests on a budded olive wood cross, with five glass capsules at each corner and the center holding souvenirs from the Holy Land: holy incense from the Nativity Church, Bethlehem soil, a Jerusalem stone, dried olive leaves, and pressed flowers.
Turn the cross over and the fourteen Stations of the Cross are engraved on the back, a daily reminder of the journey from Pilate to the tomb. A meaningful gift for a wedding, an ordination, a new home, or a Catholic milestone.
