W 10.4" x H 15.4" The artisan of this hand carved crucifix delicately hand carved Jesus’ face to embody the presence of God’s love, even in suffering. The Latin acronym for ‘Jesus of Nazareth' is nailed above his body as his final judgment. Five glass encased rings surround the homemade wooden crucifix with olive leaves, incense, dry flowers, rocks and soil from Bethlehem to bring you closer to the Holy Land. The fourteen Stations are also engraved on the back in remembrance of Jesus’ sacrifice. This olive wood cross has five glass capsules filled with 5 souvenirs from all over the Holy Land affixed on each corner of the cross and in the middle of it. These capsules include holy incense from the Nativity Church, Bethlehem soil, Jerusalem stone and dried olive leaves and flowers that collectively represent the essence of the Holy Land.
