The Jerusalem cross joins a large central cross with four smaller ones, the Gospel going out to the four corners of the earth, and here the emblem is rendered in plain polished sterling silver with no stones to distract from its lines. The design takes shape in the Bannoura family workshop in Bethlehem, where each necklace is finished by hand so none repeats exactly. Given at an ordination, it places the whole missionary heart of the faith on a single chain.
