Crossbars cap each arm of the potent cross at the heart of this design, the ancient form that anchors the Jerusalem cross. Four smaller crosses gather around it, a pattern long read as the five wounds of Christ, and gemstones set into the sterling silver trace every line of it.
Bethlehem silversmiths finish each necklace by hand, so the seat of the stones and the polish of the silver vary slightly from piece to piece; no two leave the bench identical.
