In 20 January 2020, we went on an 11 days life-changing journey to the Holy Land from Denver, CO with Rev. Felicien Mbala to explore the place where our faith started. In our pilgrimages, our travel guides use the Holy Bible to make the words to life.
On this pilgrimage, we got to see the holy sites where several miracles happened like the Fish and Loaves miracle in Tabgha, the transformation of water into wine during the Marriage at Cana, and many more.
We toured the garden of Gethsemane, named in the New Testament as the place where Jesus went with his disciples to pray the night before he was crucified.
We also got baptized in River Jordan, the river Jesus was baptized in.
Every time we went to these holy sites, we read the biblical passages that are associated with these sites. The miracles that Jesus performed during his ministry, as recorded in the New Testament of the Bible.

We spent our day in Tiberias and the Sea of Galilee area. We contemplated the stories of Jesus calming the storm and teaching about the poor, the merciful and the peacemakers.
We also visited the Primacy of Saint Peter where Jesus Reinstates Peter by asking him three times: “Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?”, “Feed my sheep.”
Then we stopped to visit Mount of Beatitudes, the hill where Jesus preached the Sermon on the Mount to the multitudes that stood below.
