Meaning of Easter, Resurrection Bible Verses from Scripture History

Meaning of Easter, Resurrection Bible Verses from Scripture History

It's quite common to get swept up in all the distractions that Easter brings, so take a bit of time for yourself to peacefully contemplate on what Easter is all about during the Easter season.

Sitting down for a few seconds per day with these Resurrection Bible verses will help you refocus if the 40 days of Lent that follow Ash Wednesday have you feeling a bit stressed.

In these unprecedented times, let's remind ourselves of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, and his triumphant love. Truly, "He is risen!".

Read through some of our favorite Resurrection Bible verses, as we look forward to the most joyous celebrations in the church.

John 11:25-26: "Jesus said to her, 'I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?'"

1 Peter 1:3: "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead."

1 Corinthians 15:21: "For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man."

Philippians 3:10: "I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death."

Acts 4:33: "With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And God's grace was so powerfully at work in them all."

John 11:25: "Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live."

Acts 4:33: "With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And God's grace was so powerfully at work in them all."

Romans 6:5-6: "For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly also be united with him in a resurrection like his. For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin."
