Every Person Is Made in God's Image

Everyone should be celebrated for their differences, for we were all made in God's image. All of us are created equal. There are many Bible verses about race and discrimination. Let these passages remind you of God's love for all people, regardless of gender, race, or background.

1 Samuel 16:7

"But the Lord said to Samuel, 'Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The LORD does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.'"

Colossians 3:25

"Anyone who does wrong will be repaid for their wrongs, and there is no favoritism."

Exodus 22:21

"Do not mistreat or oppress a foreigner, for you were foreigners in Egypt."

Romans 10:12

"For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile, the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him."

Mark 12:31

"The second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no commandment greater than these."

Genesis 1:26 to 27

"Then God said, 'Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.' So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them."

2 Chronicles 19:6 to 7

"He told them, 'Consider carefully what you do, because you are not judging for mere mortals but for the LORD, who is with you whenever you give a verdict. Now let the fear of the LORD be on you. Judge carefully, for with the LORD our God there is no injustice or partiality or bribery.'"
