9 Bible Verses About Keeping Faith in 2020
With the beginning of this new year, and the new decade, we may have too many expectations, or too many goals to achieve on our New Year’s Resolution list. And sometimes we put too much pressure on yourselves and feel a bit down for not being able to change as much as we hoped to. However, we should remind ourselves constantly that God is watching over His children. Keep the faith, and let God’s word ground you and remind you that you are way stronger than you think. Here are some of our favourite bible verses about keeping faith.
James 1:6 "But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind."
1 Peter 1:21 “Through him you believe in God, who raised him from the dead and glorified him, and so your faith and hope are in God.”
2 Corinthians 5:7 "For we live by faith, not by sight."
2 Timothy 4:7 "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith."
John 11:40 "Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?”
Matthew 17:20 “...Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
John 7:38 “Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.”
Romans 15:13 “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”
John 6:35 “Then Jesus declared, ‘I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.’”
